Redlining Vs Technique

This past Tuesday thru Thursday was Empire Warrior Week…..

This is a 3 day SUBMERSION of Physical and Mental Competition among Entrepreneurs from all over the United States and sometimes men from out of the country.

Middle aged men……

Business Owners….

Builders
Chiropractors
Plastic Surgeons
Orthopedic Surgeons
Internet Gurus
Fitness Coaches

Men pushing their MINDS and BODIES to Their LIMITS….

There were amazing ATHLETES BATTLING for the CROWN of WARRIORS FITTEST MAN…..

It started in the Water with a mile swim…..

Being an ironman Triathlete…. I thought I had it in the bag….

As we jumped into the lake from a beach start…. Two incredible swimmers darted out front….. Following in their wake I realized I had my work cut out!!!

I started to try as hard as I could and and fell back…..
So I focused back into settling in to my technique and slowed my breathing down…..

Speed and efficiency started to come back to me…..

Long story short…… Although I was competing against a 7 time IRONMAN COMPETITOR and an Olympic Qualifying swimmer….. I held my own in 3rd place….out of 40 guys….

Moral of the story….

Just because you are hauling ass doesn’t mean you are going anywhere…..

Focusing on technique and applying pressure… Will take you farther and faster than Redlining!!!

CONTROL IS KING!!!!!!
